Holiday Miracles ✨ – TBG Update 12/18/2022

I’m super excited that we sold 612 N McCadden and it was recorded on Friday!  We loved working with Bob and Terri because they’re smart + educated, logical + even tempered, honest + transparent, united with each other in thought and opinion as a couple who has been happily married for so many decades.  I love that Bob and Terri want to meet together one last time at our office so we can all thank each other and say goodbye in person.  It’s hard to say good bye every time when our time working together comes to an end!

Our whole team also had a hard time saying congratulations and goodbye to Toni + Branden at 2405 5th Ave when their house sold this week!  I love that Toni told me on Wednesday that our team is the “creme de la creme” in real estate.  We were referred to Toni by her best friend, Kayleen, after we sold Kayleen and Evan’s house on Buckingham. We represented Buckingham because we sold Evan’s house on Ogden.  We represented Evan’s house on Ogden because we sold Kayleen sister’s house on Muirfield.  We represented Rachel’s house on Muirfield because we represented Jamie, Rachel’s husband, when Jamie bought his house on Edgemont in 2011!  I met Jaime at an open house on Curson in 2010!  I loved every one of those transactions and all these people are the creme de la creme of humanity, the absolute best of the best!!!  I love that it’s been a 12 year run from the time I met Jaime to this week when we sold Toni and Brenden’s house!

We closed 5552 Edgewood last week and it was so fun to hear Julie share that she’s going to recommend us to all her friends because she and Zach found the experience of selling their house to be as smooth as she thinks it could possibly be!  We honestly found Zach and Julie to be as awesome as owners can possibly be too so the feelings are 100% mutual in all directions!  It was cool that Zach and Julie figured out that they have mutual friends with the buyer who bought their house, and I bet they all turn out to be friends too!

The most interesting part of working in real estate is meeting all the fascinating humans we come across in our daily lives!  We recently googled a buyer who bought our listing, and we found out that they won 125 million dollars in the lottery some years back!  We’re currently working with a seller who created a medical device that changed the world!  I love that real estate is such an essential part of our human existence + experience, and by representing real estate we get an up close and personal view into the fascinating human experience.

I’m excited to celebrate our team at our Bienstock Group Holiday Party tomorrow night! Jessica started to work with us in January as our Director of Operations and the way she manages the details of our backend is a game changer.  Lucy proudly heads our Transaction and Escrow Management department and she has Robhie and Carmen assisting her.  Emilee will get a well deserved award for being the most loved field assistant because everyone truly loves her (for good reason)!  Berel closed $35.5M in volume this year and it’s a complete and total honor to be in business with him!  Nechama closed almost $20M in volume and Josephine (had a new princess and also) closed over $15M in volume and they’re both rockstars!  I love that Berel, Nechama, and Josephine all bought new houses this year!  I love that Christian upped his production this year over last year and Devin closed 8 transactions this year, his first full year with our company!  As a team we closed 98 transactions in 2022 for a total volume of $179M.  We did 47 labor-of-love leases this year, each one with so much effort + dedication by the team, with so many showings + deliberations + back and forth between landlord & tenant on the final terms.  I’m incredibly proud of our hardworking + committed work family and I can’t wait to celebrate all together tomorrow night, the second night of Chanukah!

I am hyper + giddy with excitement for the kids to come home this week!!!!!!  This past Friday on Facetime, Eliyahu said “Want Grandma Now” and I told him in just a few more days we get to play!!!!  I explained to Eliyahu that when he gets off the plane and he walks toward the outside of the airport, he should look up for a red heart balloon and that will be Grandma waiting to give Eliyahu a big hug and kiss!!  We’re both counting down the seconds and we can’t wait!

Chanukah starts tonight and it’s the Holiday of Miracles!  Wishing everyone a miraculously spectacular week ahead!

Xoxoxo,

Sheri
