Lean Forward, Pump, and Climb🌙 🧗- TBG Update 11/14

Our new listing this week at 8121 Norton #203 is a sleek, hip, and cool contemporary rear and side facing corner condo unit with 2 beds + 2.5 baths in a 16 unit West Hollywood building with breezy open-air walkways and a large subterranean gated parking garage! The space feels organic and wholesome the instant you walk into the spacious open concept living room + dining room + kitchen with natural wood floors and a neutral soothing color palette. The living room is surrounded by windows, flooded with natural light, and there is a cozy gas fireplace in the corner.  The kitchen is decked with luxurious Subzero & Bosch appliances, a large pantry + storage closet, lots of counter space + cabinetry, and a breakfast bar. The master bedroom suite has an awesome large balcony, a big walk-in closet, and a huge en-suite bathroom with a freestanding tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity.  The building is private, gated, and secure with security cameras and underground tandem parking with a deeded storage locker + 5 guest parking spaces. The address has a walk score of 93 and it’s so close to shops and restaurants in West Hollywood.  With all the natural light and greenery out the windows, it truly is a protected safe sanctuary right in the heart of the city!

Both of our new listings on Vista Street in Miracle Mile are completely fabulous and open today 1-4.  160 N Vista is such a great offering for $3,195,000 for 4000 square feet of pristine move-in ready house with ultra high ceilings, wide open spaces, 5 beds and 5 baths on a 7000 sq ft lot with a gated and hedged park-like yard.  516 N Vista is a modern zen mini compound that’s incredibly versatile and can be used as a single family residence or as an income producing property.

It was completely awesome to be a guest this week at a party hosted by a client I represented as a buyer two years ago.  I loved every minute of seeing the beautiful home sparkling and all lit up for the occasion, the kids’ faces shining with excitement to be hosting, and the friends who were clearly so at home and acting like the hosts themselves.  Standing there I reminisced back to when the homeowners were brand new to the city and waxing nostalgic for close friends and business opportunities left behind and wondering how their new adventure in a new city would pan out.  It felt extraordinarily wonderful 2 years later to witness, hear, and be a part of all the amazing happenings that have unfolded since.  It is my absolute greatest honor and privilege to be a part of special people’s life journeys, rooting for and celebrating their continued success!

Also this week, I got a text with pictures of the most adorable Sushi and Sake party for a little 10 year old girl’s birthday in the most beautiful house we helped the owners buy last year.  With everyone doing school and afterschool activities at home during Covid, this family wanted more house and a backyard with a pool.  I represented the sale of their old house and Nechama, my buyer’s agent partner, worked on the purchase of their new house at the same time.  We all loved every minute of working together.  I took the opportunity this week to stop by and visit the cutest little birthday party ever and it was incredibly fun to see all the giggling wet little girls in the pool and spa and the absolutely stunning character Spanish home that the owners with fabulous taste made even more incredible than it was when they purchased it last year!  It’s such an absolute honor to be part of cool people making cool steps in their lives, and it’s so touching and special to see the continued success play out post sale!

Starting to look back at this year in review, I have overwhelming gratitude for my amazing buyers agent partners and the 40 buyers our team represented purchasing their new homes this year!  It will be so fun for all of us to stay in touch and to celebrate together the milestones, parties, and incredible successes as they no doubt happen for our buyers in their new homes!

A buyer buying a new house feels to me like a rider climbing on a swing. The rider settles in the swing comfortably and perhaps requests a starting push to gain momentum.  And then the rider leans forward and extends their legs and they bend their legs as they go backwards, and they continue to rock and pump and rock and pump and they climb higher and higher and they head for the sky.  When a buyer sets out to buy a house, it feels like they are climbing into a swing and asking for a starting push to gain momentum.  Buyers very often have a comprehensive plan, starting with a house purchase, that takes energy, commitment, and stamina to propel their lives forward and upwards and to do great things in their lives with their newly purchased home as their base. The new home somehow feels like the swing and the buyer feels like the rider poised to pump and climb.  As a person whose mantra is “reach for the moon because if you miss you’ll land among the stars” it’s the world’s absolutely biggest treat to be the starting push that sets the buyer settled on the swing into motion heading straight for the sky!  Our goal is our clients’ happily ever after…keep pumping!

Wishing everyone an awesome weekend!

xoxoxo,
